Located in the center of the Ozarks in the scenic hills of the White River valley, Table Rock State Park is located in one of the most popular recreational areas in Missouri. Just a few miles southwest of the world-renowned tourism destination of Branson, the park borders the shoreline of beautiful Table Rock Lake and offers an ideal location for campers wishing to take advantage of all the attractions and entertainment in the area.
At the foot of Round Mountain in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of north-central Arkansas stands Greers Ferry Dam. Behind that structure dedicated in 1963 by the late President John F. Kennedy, glistens one of the foremost recreational areas in the middle United States, Greers Ferry Lake.
The Blanchard Springs Recreation Area offers a rich outdoor experience. Stroll on the paved trail to where the Blanchard Springs gushes as a waterfall from the hillside. Swim in the clear waters of the North Sylamore Creek. Hike into the Ozark woods for an hour or a weekend. Try your luck catching rainbow trout from Mirror Lake, an accessible facility. Blanchard Springs Caverns has 3 tours- Dripstone Tour, Wild Cave Tour, & Discovery Tour (Summer only).
The DeGray Lake area is rich in birdlife and wildlife which are protected within the park. The rustic natural beauty and pristine setting are ideal for a wide variety of outdoor pastimes.
Nestled between scenic pine and oak-clad mountains in the northeast corner of the Ouachita National Forest is Lake Sylvia Recreation Area. The serene 18-acre lake is noted for its swimming and fishing opportunities only 38 miles west of Little Rock.
